​Regardless of your feelings on guns this is pretty fucking dumb. If you give up on any personal freedom you may have just so you can stop terrorists from doing their thing, they've already won. The only reason there wouldn't be terrorism is because there's no fucking point to it. Everybody's living in little drab gray cubes the world over and never speaks to another person in their life because that's literally the only way to stop murder and terrorism from happening. No amount of surveillance will ever be good enough, no amount of strict curfews, laws, and thought policing will ever completely be good enough. You reach diminishing returns on that sort of thing LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before you've hit 1984 levels of dystopia. You usually think things through better than this man.

I had a dream I was in some latin country, Mexico or something, everything was in spanish. Then it turned out to be one of those dreams where you can float, but cant go higher than a few centimeters of the ground. Either way, I was floating around like I was Magneto, until my foot got stuck on the handle of a tea kettle. Some old guy heard me and went to kill me with a double barrel shotgun, because I was trespassing. Then my grandpa shows up and saves me, for some reason he is in Mexico and a cop again, he retired like 15 years ago. Then I found a Fallout 4 Pipboy edition on the ground, near a mountain of rusted tea kettles and woke up.

I don't remember my dreams. Ever. Not once in my 20.5 years have I remembered a dream more than "spiders everywhere". So imagine my surprise when two nights in a row, I remember two dreams vividly - literally just before I wake up. My first dream was yesterday, Thursday morning. However, the dream was cut short and I woke up shortly after. During breakfast, I told my mom and brother about this dream, and my mom perked up. She was indeed pregnant at 1996, when she was playing one 1-year-old me, and she felt a pain, got it checked out. She was pregnant with a 1-month-old fetus, but the pregnancy was shown to be immediately difficult, and there was a very high chance she or it would die during childbirth. She would either have to hope it miscarried, or get an abortion. It ended up miscarrying at 1 month, which is apparently a relatively common thing to happen to women, babies miscarry before anyone knows they're there. 3 months after the miscarriage, my mom had a dream of her own. In it, she was in a dimly lit log cabin. The wife of a family friend tapped her shoulder and asked if she was joyous. My mom asked why, and the wife replied that my mom was going to have a daughter. I have never once heard of my miscarried fetus younger sibling, EVER. There was just no reason for my parents to tell anyone, since they only knew about it for a few days. But what truly amazes me is that fact that I somehow knew about it. I knew I had a younger sibling 'born' in 1998. I knew they would've been 19. Somehow, I knew they were sisters, but I never knew anything about them because somehow I knew they didn't ever really live.   My second dream was today. And then I wake up like a pussy. The illusion is broken immediately. The clock is 7:50, ten minutes before my alarm clock should go off.
