I've been having some interesting ones lately. Two nights ago I had one that I was going stargazing with some friends but the event turned out to be so much more. Celestial fireworks filled the sky and it was more like a painter swiping and blending brightly colored galaxies around a black canvas. Probably one of the prettiest dreams I've had. Yesterday mine involved a school course in which you had to search a suburban home for a human mouth jutting out of the ground. You had to force the lips open and shimmy down a thirty foot shaft connected to it to reach a parallel version of the house. You then had to rescue ten puppies that were in the parallel house and throw them through the mouth back to baseline. Cone to think of it, oppressively dark and unoccupied but still furnished suburban houses are a recurring setting of my dreams.

I don't believe we've ever advertised as some kind of safe space or somewhere that censors other people. I get enough of that kind of moderation on the Paizo forums (where every vaguely controversial statement from "I don't like this product you made" to "You know I think that feminist rally got kind of out of hand" is scrubbed and all responses to it are likewise scrubbed), and have no desire to carry it over to here. We don't make a habit of removing posts unless they're extremely offensive (intense gore/shock imagery or porn outside the designated private subforum) or are clearly flamebait/trolling or otherwise likely to spiral way out of control. This is not either scenario. With the influx of new members, forum rules/guidelines may need to be updated to make this clearer. Raison had his say, everybody dogpiled him, pretty much, we all learned things about each other, and we went back to memeing and playing vidya together the next day. Everybody got their say, and I feel like there are less hard feelings than if discussion had been shut down altogether.

To be fair, that's exactly what Bubsy deserves. The first games may not have been as bad as people say (mainly because they were just one in a long number of similar platformers, many far worse than Bubsy) but Bubsy 3D was the height of a soulless cash-grab.

Please, with all these new people coming around, its opened new sources of rep deposits. Just because you don't know how to exploit the rep-ugees doesn't mean you should prevent those who can, ya dirty red.

You're free to post your opinions and argue against things you don't agree with, but if you're going to specifically vicious then we ask you don't post in such situations. We aren't Reddit or Neogaf; people can express opinions if they're relevant to the discussion at hand and if they're civil about the way they present their arguments. Slay the opposition with facts and logic, not redaction! If you are intent on not staying, we ask that you just log out and don't think of us again. Public declarations of leaving the community are often derided and contribute nothing.

I don't think the mods are going to censor Raison's opinions regardless of people's disagreement with it. Nor should they.

I did not bump an 8 month old post. I responded to a thread that had been bumped a few hours beforehand. I'm just shocked that the blatant racism has been allowed to stay.

If you want a second mod opinion, I also agree with Raz. And I was the main one arguing with Raison before. If you have something concrete to add to this thread, please do. As far as I'm concerned the discussion about nationalism/ethnocentricity with Raison is done, however. Not saying you can't disagree with any opinion espoused by any member of this thread (or others), and it would be hypocritical of me to say you must disagree POLITELY, but do so coherently and specifically.

I don't know what forums you were member of previously, but responding to few months old post with nothing to add to the thread is not very welcome behavior. Ignoring most of the post and just saying "this is bullshit, so rest of it must also be so", is also rude. If you want to discuss something, please do, but if you don't, just ignore the post, instead of saying that post is not worthy to being responded to. Please, keep your responses up to a higher standard, no matter what opinions of other posters are, it's not a youtube comment section.

I had this dream once when I was about 7, I was sitting on one of those about waist-high electrical poles that go in the ground outside your house, the ones with the number strip running down them, right? So I was sitting on one of those, eating a banana, and I finished the banana so I threw it over my shoulder, but it went really far and so a skyscraper-sized version of Randall from Monsters Inc that was walking in the distance slipped on it cartoon-slapstick-style and got pissed and started chasing me, so my brother picked the pole up outta the ground (with me still on it) and ran inside the house. Then I woke up crying then stopped then went to church.
