Today's article a brand new writer (Spoiler: me) joined the ranks of The Daily SPUF and presented the today's perspective of Destiny 2.

As of now you grab the game for $12 bucks on Humble Bundle. The only caveat is that it does NOT include any DLCs, only the vanilla product.

Ohh... and you can also read Medic's thoughts on the beta if you haven't already.

Went there 2 weeks ago. Know a dude who lives there. Say hi to him for me.

Nice job handling there. Weirdest human interaction I've ever had was maybe 6-7 years ago in a park, some dude my age who I'd never seen came up to me and greeted me by name like we were old friends. Forgot his name, but he said we were friends in elementary. He even knew the school name. He recalled things that he and I had allegedly done back in school that I had no fuckin recollection of. But I swear I'd never seen this guy in my fuckin life before. Creepy shit.

You did far better than I would. I would try to kindly ask her to cut that out, in a 'dude, what the fuck' way, I'm not good with dealing with other people's emotional problems, so I bet it would sound out rude.

At least she had you to vent and slap her back to her senses before anything went out of control. I think that is worth at least a banana sticker.

Underlated edit: I just noticed the last 4 posts (including me) have catgirl avatars.

I debated with myself for a while whether or not this was something worth sharing, but it's just so fucking strange that I feel I need to vent it somewhere. This is some fairly personal stuff so I'll be leaving out most critical details but god damn man, I've never experienced anything quite like this in my life before.

Minutes ago I finished watching the anime Sora yori mo Tooi Basho (A Place Further than the Universe) and boy am I happy that I decided to pick this show up on a complete whim. It's an anime that's pretty deceitful, as both the synopsis and cover for the show doesn't do justice to the sincerity of the story being told and the extremely relatable cast of main characters. It looks and reads like a dumb moe show with a goofy setting they decided on just to try and stand out, but that couldn't be further from the truth. In my five years of watching anime I've consumed exactly 400 tv anime/movies/OVAs and out of those 400 there are about a dozen of shows I consider true 10/10 shows. A Place Further than the Universe manages to make that list pretty effortlessly. I was calling it at episode six that this show was going to be amazing.

A Place Further than the Universe is an anime original show consisting of 13 episodes of 24 minutes. It is a completely self-contained story that has a solid beginning and ending. I always really like watching anime original shows because so many adaptations of manga or light novels end up being bait for you to buy the original source material to get a solid conclusion to the story, leaving the ending of their anime versions with something to be desired for the sake of more manga sales. Not the case with this anime, it manages to have a completely satisfying ending, which for me personally is the most important thing for a show.

So what makes this show a 10/10 in my books? To put it simply it manages a perfect score because the show is just really solid across all categories. The animation is really solid, the soundtrack is the perfect match for the tone of the show, the voice work for the characters is impressive, the story has a clear red thread all the way throughout and doesn't linger too long anywhere and it's very compelling on the whole. It touches on a lot of pretty tough subjects when it comes to being a human and the main cast of characters all have their own circumstances, some more tough and traumatic than others, but the circumstances all feel real. These characters all come together from their own independent backgrounds to experience the bond of true friendship together and it's a very emotional watch for someone like myself who's dealt with a lot of similar bullshit in his life. There were at least four separate scenes in the last three episodes that made me tear up... Doesn't help that the main characters have a tendency to cry a lot as well, but they ARE teenage girls at the end of the day, so I can't really blame them for that one.

I want to sing the praises of A Place Further than the Universe in more detail, but I'm afraid I'll spoil something. I don't really know if there's much to spoil, but I think the emotional impact of the show is better if you go into it completely blind.

As such I can only seriously, seriously, SERIOUSLY recommend that you give A Place Further than the Universe a watch.

My country is one of the few left that still has mandatory conscription at age 18. I was declared eligible for service at that time, but had it in my head that I wanted to pursue a university degree instead. Luckily for me I pulled a high number (20022 to be exact) and that pretty much guaranteed I wouldn't be called upon. A few years down the line after struggling with my studies I eventually found myself without any kind of driven purpose or goal and mildly depressed for that reason. I quit university and signed up for the military. After about six months wait time I started basic and I've been with the army ever since.

Had a really harrowing dream last night where I got some kind of cleaning job for a "cemetary" except for some reason people were buried in these kinds of pipes that went deeper and deeper into the ground. I cleaned one little altar with a picture of the deceased person on it and then had to crawl down deeper into the pipes for the next altar. I could barely fit through the pipes and they constantly made S-bends demanding me to turn around mid descend and not only was I petrified I could get stuck at any moment it was also very clear that it was not physically possible to climb up again due to how the pipes bent

Cube's meme-fuel shonen adventure continues with season 1 of My/Boku no (delete where appropriate) Hero Academia!

I really like the subversion of the "Protagonist is just TOO STRONG you guuuuuys" trope. Izuku (aka Deku the Scrub) has incredible power, but right now it's more of a hindrance than anything, and his greatest challenge is learning how to not injure himself when he throws a punch! I can't wait to see where they go with this.

Katsuki (aka 'Splosion Man Jr.) is being this show's Vegeta, clearly. I hope they won't take the obvious route of him becoming a villain in order to defeat Deku once and for all.

Tsuyu (aka Crazy Frogette) is cute and cool, but I don't get all the fuss over her. Maybe she does something really amazingly cool/cute later?

There are also other characters. They do stuff and say things.

Most importantly, All Might (aka Superman BUT COOLER) is the best thing ever. Six hundred pounds of Silver Age cheese (my second favorite kind of cheese next to pepper jack), but with a weakness that's actually interesting and significant, unlike magic green space rocks.

Ok so I'm not as disciplined as the others, so I'm doing what I did last year-my chart includes everything I watched this year, new and old. And I feel like I watched a pretty good amount of anime! It's my second year of really watching a lot of anime and it was rly good. We just finished watching Steins;Gate literally 7 minutes ago, so I think I am ready to post.

Here is the chart, open in a new tab to view best! I made it too big just like last year. I have a section for best seasonal stuff that was actually new, and then I bisected the year for everything else. The other superlatives are just everything mashed up. I hope u enjoy!

Here is what I watched during the year of 2017 in order!

I just looked at my phone and realised that if I posted this a few minutes earlier it would be 20:17, so I'm sorry for missing that opportunity. Otherwise I'm a little earlier this year, wanted to finish some great shows from the fall season such as Blend S. Ben pestered me to do this again since he is excited to share, so here I am, with another big jpeg.

How did we like 2017? Can a year without any Jojo (except for an OVA that I think came out in september?) really be worth looking into? Can any girls be considered 'cute' nowadays when you're probably just going to find out way too late that they have a penis? Most importantly, can anything even come close to Kemono Friends?

So this was my original draft for the chart, but after realising, through some severe cognitive dissonance, that my friends and I watched Your Name a full year after its release, I have had to edit the chart slightly. See below.
