IMO the first bit is only tangentially relevant, and the second two are quite reasonable. Releasing the officer's identity, given the public's current state of rioting and lawlessness, would probably doom him and his whole family to death. The tear gas and riot gear is 100% justified. When "protesters" are breaking into random stores, stealing shit, and BURNING THEM DOWN in the name of "justice", it's time for harsher measures. The last is pretty effed though.

In Fallout 3, rush to the Brotherhood Outcasts to do Operation Anchorage so you get Winterized T-51b that doesn't degrade and lots of high end weapons. Then go to the Pitt and do all that to get the Metal Blaster and access to the ammo prints. Infinite ammo and high tier weapons in the beginning of the game. In New Vegas, you can either rush to the Strip and loot everything for some fairly high mid tier guns or you can go to the Boomer's airbase and get carbines, Thump-Thump, Fat Man, and some black combat armor. You can also get the Ranger Sequoia from Golf Camp and the Gobi Campaign rifle from snipers nest pretty early on if you maxed out Lockpick. In Novac, you can pick up That Gun and Trail Carbine along with a Minigun if you wish.

Bioshock's story is meta as fuck If you're planning on playing the other two: Bioshock 2 is the exact same game as 1 for better and for worse, but with a much less impressive storyline. Bioshock Infinite is a completely different game for better and for worse, and has a pretty interesting storyline that is severely overhyped. Also don't think too much about the ending because the longer you stare at it the more holes you find.
