Most tattoos look pretty bad IMO, but that sounds like it would look badass. It meets my personal criteria for tattoos: 1.) Represents something meaningful (a decade of your life dedicated to something? I'd say qualifies). 2.) Isn't overly elaborate. It will probably age well. I'd say MAYBE shift it to your back or sides though if you don't want to wear long sleeves to job interviews and such for the rest of your life, and don't feel like explaining it to everyone you ever meet ever from that point forward.

Dude, ten years of martial arts? That's an insane accomplishment. I'd wear that with the utmost pride, you earned it through sweat and blood.
