I expect it to be on par with HoMM 3 HD edition, aka. just play old game, it's not broken tier.

HoMM 3 HD edition was: just play old game, because it has more features than the HD edition without modification, and there are HD mods which do a far better job than the official HD version.

It's kind of miracle that anyone ever learns TF2, given how many unexplained mechanics there are, and how even veterans will often give you wrong explanations due to how often they change.

If you didn't hear about the Sandman, I doubt you ever heard that fall damage has a +/- 20% damage spread.

The Short Circuit can shoot glowing balls of death, and you can also rocket jump with it. But it's pretty impractical. Though I guess that isn't really a nerf, huh...

@TheOnlyGuyEver Oh wow. I have made one piddly level, uploaded it at 10pm, and nobody has played it :( It is a very generic, no clever shenanigans babby's first. Though I am trying to make a probably-been-done-a-thousand-times "work with bowser to progress" level. He interacts with switches and stuff, which is nice.

@Expresate It's not you fault that no one has played it, most people are in the same boat, me included. Basically, until your level has gotten played ONCE, it will not show up ANYWHERE except the "new" tab, which could take like a week+ for your level to get played since the tab can only display so many levels at once. The recommendation algorithm is pretty flawed right now as such, and so external sharing (like the daily level exchange on the subreddit, which will often do the job) is pretty popular right now.

Also usually I like to create a level around a specific mechanic or gimmick or idea, but there's nothing wrong with making traditional levels (in fact I'm making one now); yours was very enjoyable. Enjoy being freed from 0 play purgatory btw, the snowball effect should kick in from now.

That can go both ways, though. Have I seen my fair amount of those who you just described? Hell yeah, I used to go on NMA, the hive of that sort of opinion. I've also seen my fair amount of those who refuse to acknowledge the originals, because its not made by Bethesda, or its graphics are shit, or because its turn-based, and what not. I don't think its really fair to call out only one of those groups when the other can be just as obnoxious, unless your ""true fallout fans" comment was directed towards both those groups, in which case, I agree.

No, it was specifically targeted to the """"""""""""""""""Dinosaurs""""""""""""""""""" (mass quotations so you'll understand) because it was a personal rant that I posted on this forum since I'm frequently seeing that kind of behavior coming from that group. I'm well aware that "new" fallout fans can act the same. It's a pretty average internet behavior based on arrogance and assumptions. It was just a rant.
