Caveson, your thoughts are frankly fucking stupid. If you think Trump gives half a flying fuck about small businesses and the "common man", you haven't been paying attention to his entire career as a businessman. There's a fun documentary that illustrates this I can't remember the name of. You can probably find it by googling "Trump fucks Scotland" or something similar. Edit: in fact, I did it for you. The name of the documentary is "You've Been Trumped". And yes, that plus the word documentary is what I typed into google. And if you're saying saying shit like "I'm not transphobic" while using phrases like "Some fucking tranny", you're either hilariously unself-aware or lying. That whole rant is based on misinformation and deflecting based on that same old bullshit "Well I would have voted for someone else but you called me a racist so..." line. No, you wouldn't have, you fucking liar, you voted the exact same way you were ALWAYS going to vote and crying that somebody hurt your widdle feelings by calling you a racist just makes you look like a spiteful god damned pansy. Just own up to the fact that you voted for the man because he pandered to your crowd and you liked what you heard, because there's no way you ACTUALLY BELIEVE his "I'm anti-establishment for the people" tripe unless you have deliberately avoided learning ANYTHING about the man and how he operates. There's very little chance he's the next coming of Hitler but the BEST case scenario is he's an ineffectual buffoon who parades around with Pence's hand up his ass for the next 4-8 years, and all the informed voters who swung his way are in the know on that. If you actually bought into the rhetoric, I'm sad for you but you had a long ass time to educate yourself and claiming you voted for him just because other people said bad things about him or you makes you look like a fucking idiot.

I think the most important thing to take away from this election is that the Democrats lost the white working class too early. If only they kept up the "Democrats are for the common man" meme for just one more cycle they would've won and then imported enough third-worlders into NC and FL and all the other battleground states to keep them blue for eternity, just like California. Can you believe it used to be a Republican stronghold? But some of you guys look pretty shook up so I'll console you. There's always 2020. Chin up! By then enough white people will have died/minorities come of age so that you can have a permanent Democratic majority! Pretty cool, eh? Unlike you, I don't have a second homeland to flee to. This is it for me.

Does anyone else feel like everyone's hitting the Doomsday button a little prematurely here? Seriously, calm down a little and stop acting like you're living in the middle of Iraq suddenly and realize that even if Trump fucks up massively, he will be up for re-election again in four years, and you can try to get rid of him then. Seriously, with all this knee-jerk reaction, I'm worried that half this country will be suffering from arthritis in the next 2 years.

The last thing I'll say is, well yeah. Maybe for you. But I guarantee you there are people who have already lost their lives indirectly just because of this guy becoming president. Hate crimes went up by 80% when Brexit happened. It'll be worse here. Already read about 3 shootouts in the last 2 days, one half an hour from where I live. People are dying and will die as a result of a racist president emboldening the other racists in the country. They have their initiative and people will suffer. But it's okay, because life'll go on for you I guess. It's not the end of the world for you maybe, but a lot of LGBT people, and minorities in general are terrified out of their fucking minds. The only reason I'm not afraid to leave my own god damn house is because I live in an extremely Hispanic dense area. If I were in any bible belt state I would not step out of my god damn house out of fear. So there you go. We'll keep moving forward, but at what cost. There is no world where people should have to fear for their lives because a presidential candidate has been elected. Also I'm just gonna go ahead and also mention Mike Pence is a human being who probably shouldn't exist. That's all I got.

Btw if you voted trump just know that the rest of the world is looking at you and thinking that you're dumb Don't go and defend Trump on every single thing he says, the same goes with any political candidate. They're not there to have you as part of their army, they're there to earn your support.

Race related crime has already significantly increased. Even if it doesn't get worse (doubtful) do you really think Trump is going to work to make it any better? Or is he going to open his dumb ass mouth at every opportunity and fan the flames, intentionally or not? His first presidential address is probably going to be a nightmare. Because he's already proven he's incapable of just reading a prepared speech off of cards.

C'mon, man. This is 90% fear baiting set up by someone at Texas State, either a left-wing person trying to "start a conversation" or an alt-right moron trolling people. An online search shows nothing (though, granted, that could be because it's new - yet to spread, if you've posted it anywhere else). EDIT: And as to Trump - he was inevitable. Not "him", exactly, but someone intolerable to the other side. When mainstream culture leans right, a far-left counterculture will inevitably appear. The same will occur if the culture leans right. See the hippies And honestly? I think better Trump than the next guy, because the next guy will be farther right, maybe way, way farther right. And maybe he'd be smarter, more aggressive, and more charismatic. And maybe then we'd be in deep, deep, trouble. I am a republican. I supported Gary Johnson to get Libertarian some presence on the ballot, because I could not ethically support Trump. Trump won. We keep moving forward. The pendulum swings. Life goes on.

Brexit passed, the Cubs enter, then win the World Series for the first time in over a century, and Donald Trump won the election. Truly, these are the end times. And what better way to top off the apocalypse before Hell itself freezes over and pigs fly, than with a new chapter of Eternal Adventures!? And not just any chapter, but the season finale!!! Hope you enjoy. SE 01 CH 18 Familiar Feeling Location: Dracium 9; Shuttle en route to D.R.F. Imperial TL;DR And with that, Season 1 is done. I thank you all of those who enjoyed reading these as I enjoyed making them. As we wrap this up, any final thoughts or feelings, criticisms, etc. on Eternal Adventures? I would certainly appreciate the feedback. Thank you oh so much. Please stay tuned for Season 2, which have major improvements and additions coming its way. Until then, see you around.

He said come at him, I obliged. If he has a problem with it he can go ahead and respond himself. Given the video that he says "summarizes his thoughts" he's a hypocrite if he does, but he can feel free. That is the only post I've made properly venting on the subject and of the people I even kind of know he's the best target. My dad and grandparents are fucking stupid too but they've at least always been honest about being racist redneck bastards, so they have the leg up in honesty.

And yet I live in the portion of the US where anti-LGBT+ sentiment is the highest. That 55% nation-wide acceptance of same-sex marriage means jack shit, especially since I live in an area where there are about 3 different churches within 1 mile of my house, and expanding the radius to even 5 miles, the number increases to 7 churches.

Rynjin, c'mon man. Take it back a few notches. It's fair to be upset, but the personal attacks aren't necessary.

For those of you scared, rightfully or not, I suggest getting a gun and learning to use it for self-defense (if not for general enjoyment). You can buy a Hi-Point for a bit over $200 (state to state may vary.), a few boxes of FMJ for training shooting and a box of hollow points for use. Cheap shotguns will run you a similar amount, if you have a preference. Get a CCW if you can, carry especially if you don't feel safe. If the racists/state-sanctioned right wing death squads/rioters/burglars are what you see as a severe problem, at least do what you can for yourself as the Constitution says. If they come for you, you'll have a response. I'm not trying to be a meme here. There's a reason there's a Second Amendment, for when the citizens feel that they can not trust the government or those that would seek to harm them. This applies to MANY people right now.

Are people going to read your mind and detect that you're gay? Hell, even if you go with your boyfriend and hold his hand and kiss him in public, do you think anyone's going to hurt you? Most people aren't deranged enough to actually hurt someone except in self-defense. Okay, it might be a little bit more dangerous. But there's always chaos and crime when any societal upset happens, and I doubt this will be more severe than any other. And please, everyone, stop with the backhanded identity politics. We all know they're bullshit.

"Don't let fear control you" That's easy to say when you don't have a target painted on your forehead and back. I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow, and I'm pretty nervous about going out, what with living in the middle of the bible belt.

Hillary would have largely been a continuation of the status quo, some stuff might have changed, I don't think it'd be anything drastic. Trump would pretty much upend many systems we have set here in the US, and then can very easily dick over international diplomatic relations.

Congratulations America, we did it! We voted in an incredibly incompetent, racist, sexist, LGBT-hating, failure of a businessman, sexual predator demagogue instead of a reasonably competent albeit with a lot of flaws president who actually won the popular vote!!! One supported by the fucking KKK and feared by a third of the fucking country! Democracy! Yeah! We did it everyone!!!! What a fucking joke. What a complete and utter disregard for the half of America that's going to be absolutely fucking trounced by an a Republican government. But it's alright, Hillary didn't win right? That criminal! Disregard the fact that Trump's a fucking tax evader and suspected sex offender. Just great. Oh yeah. He's not in the office yet but we sure as hell are already gonna start feeling the effects of his presidency. Fun stuff

The funny thing is, Trump had like ~%15 chance of winning. Clinton and crew were all basically smug and confident about near certain victory. He had to win ALL of the states Romney won, almost all of the swing states, and one or two traditionally blue states. Even after ALL the negative news and stereotypes from the liberal media, Hollywood, and academia. On top of all that, he had to win over his own party and get their shit together. All without having any political career before in D.C., facing off the personification of "entrenched, corrupt politician". Last year, when he announced his candidacy, everyone thought it was a joke. Well, guess he's laughing now. And even then, he still has a long 4 years ahead of him., as the media will probably be on his ass 24/7 looking for ANYTHING to throw in his face if he screws up. Something they would never do to Obama or would have done with Clinton. Whether you like or not, you do have to respect that is quite the underdog story worthy of being in the history books. Also, for those of you saying it's all over for America....just....stop. I mean what is the worst is he going to do? Build a wall? woopie doo. Same with Clinton. She would be Obama 2.0 + a touch of feminism. Would I like it, no, but I know it's not world ending. The fate of the balance of the country never relied on one election, in fact it's scary thinking about all the people betting such a thing on just one man (or in this election , woman). The president should not be relied on for the country's future. That's a sign he/she has too much power. The reason I voted Trump is that he is reversing all of the crappy, abusive executive orders being tossed out on critical legislation as a way to bypass Congress, therefore lowering the power of the executive branch, which is a good thing in the long run.
